(1) Oil ring lubrication method--it uses the rotating shaft to drive the oil ring that is movable on the shaft. The oil ring brings the oil in the oil pool into the bearing and enters the circulating lubrication.

(2) Splash lubrication method - the oil pump mounted on the connecting rod throws away the oil and splashes it to the lubricating parts for lubrication. Therefore, the cylinder and the moving mechanism can only use the same lubricating oil. This method is mostly used in small compressors without crossheads. The disadvantage is that the engine oil is not easy to filter and the oil level must be strictly controlled. But the design is not complicated.
(3) Pressure lubrication method--it uses machinery (such as oil pumps and oil injectors) to automatically apply lubricating oil pressure to the lubrication parts, also called pressure lubrication method. This method is used in large and medium-sized compressors with crossheads.
(4) Dripping oil lubrication method--it uses oil cups and oil pipelines to deliver lubricating oil to the parts that should be refueled.
(5) Injection lubrication method - the injected oil mist follows the gas into the cylinder and other lubrication locations. For example, ultra-high pressure compressors, sliding vane compressors and screw compressors all use oil injection lubrication.
